What to do when your Outin Nano won't turn on?
The Outin Nano is a portable espresso machine known for its light weight and performance. Weighing only 670 grams and with a pressure of 20 bars, it offers extraction comparable to professional machines. However, there may be times when your device won't turn on. Here are the steps to diagnose and resolve this issue.
1. Check the battery status
1.1. Charge level
The Outin Nano is equipped with a 7500 mAh battery, capable of brewing up to 5 cups with cold water or more than 200 cups with hot water. If your machine won't turn on, the battery may be drained. Connect it to a 10 to 15 watt USB-C charger and let it charge for at least 3 hours.
1.2. Indicator lights
While charging, indicator lights show the battery status. Ensure that these lights are functioning correctly. If the lights blink 5 times and the machine beeps 3 times during use, this indicates that the power is too low.
2. Inspect the cable and charger adapter
2.1. Cable integrity
A damaged cable can prevent charging. Examine the provided USB-C cable for any signs of wear or cuts. If necessary, replace it with a compatible cable.
2.2. Power of the adapter
Use a 5V/3A USB wall adapter to charge the machine. The Outin Nano will not charge if you use a charger lower than 15 W (for example, the Apple 5 W charger).
3. Perform a device reset
If the machine remains unresponsive after charging, a reset may be necessary. To do this:
- Unplug the device from any power source.
- Wait about 10 minutes.
- Reconnect it and try turning it on again.
4. Contact customer service
If none of the previous steps resolve the issue, it is recommended to contact Outin's customer service. The Outin Nano comes with a 12-month warranty. In case of any issues with the product, including battery problems, during the one-year warranty period, they are committed to replacing it with a new machine.
5. Prevent future problems
5.1. Regular maintenance
Regularly clean your Outin Nano to ensure its proper functioning. Refer to the user manual for detailed instructions.
5.2. Proper storage
Avoid exposing the machine to extreme temperatures or humidity. Store it in a cool, dry place when not in use.
By following these steps, you can identify and resolve issues related to turning on your Outin Nano, ensuring optimal use of your portable espresso machine.
